Farm Ferments is seeking an entrepreneurial food
& beverage executive with extensive Sales & Marketing experience to
lead our team and help our organization meet its growth objectives. The
right candidate must have experience with Business Development and Brand
Management and have the capacity to at once manage and grow an organization.

lead a focused, professional, and values-driven company that is staged for
continued growth, and success.

This CEO position is based in Hudson and
requires local and regional travel in pursuit of business and corporate
development objectives. The executive is supported by a strong management team,
including experienced operations leads, a part-time CFO, and a strong and
capable board.

Key functions of the role include business
development, brand management, strategic long-term planning, oversight of
department managers, profit and loss responsibility, human resource
policymaking, incentive programs, and capital planning.

Compensation and

Base salary: $110k to $150k

Duties
& Responsibilities

·      
Sales Planning &
Strategy: Evaluate the growth opportunities across channels, business lines,
and geographies

·      
Sales Team
Management: Manage the sales resources available to the company including our
sales director and brokers

·      
Business Development:
Execute the sales plan by developing new business

·      
Customer Service
Management: Maintain and solidify existing business opportunities through
excellent customer service

·      
Distributor
Management: Manager the company’s key distributor partners

·      
Marketing Planning
& Management: Develop and execute marketing campaigns that support and
strengthen the company’s brand and business development effort

·      
Quarterly &
Annual Board Reviews: conduct reviews with the board, presenting company
performance verses key objectives and providing updates on key initiatives

·      
Senior Leadership
Team Oversight & Management: Manage leaders of Operations, Finance &
Admin, and Sales & Marketing departments

·      
Strategic Business
Planning: Create and update the company’s long-term plan and vision

·      
Company Budgeting
& PL Responsibility: With the support of the CFO create a financial plan to
achieve the company’s objectives

·      
Team Incentive
Programs: Develop incentives for managers and staff that align their interests
with those of the company

·      
Senior HR
Leader/Policymaker: With the support of the Finance & Admin manager
maintain and create policies that confirm with regulations and support the team
and company objectives

·      
Capital Planning:
Evaluate capital expenditures for return potential and alignment with strategic
objectives

Job
Requirements

·      
At least 7 years
management in food and beverage industry in positions of increasing
responsibility

·      
Demonstrated track
record of successful brand marketing and business development

·      
Willingness to travel
up to 50% of the time for sales and business development

·      
Demonstrated ability
to lead and motivate a team

·      
Outstanding written
and verbal communication

·      
MBA or equivalent
education + work experience

·      
Availability on
nights and weekends as per needs of organization

·      
Working fluency of
financial statements and accounting systems

·      
Start-up or general
management experience

·      
Natural food industry
experience a plus
