FoodMaven is an innovative new company capturing the hundreds of billions of dollars of food that gets lost in the multi-trillion dollar US food system every year.  Applying innovative logistics models, plus internet technology and big data techniques, FoodMaven captures lost food, creating found revenues for our suppliers, and discounts with convenience for our buyers that include restaurants, institutional kitchens, and commercial food businesses.  Whatever doesn’t sell, FoodMaven donates to hunger relief, and because we’ve created a compelling economic model, we dramatically increase what goes to people.  Finally, FoodMaven operates on a zero landfill policy, avoiding the environmental catastrophe of food waste going into landfills.

In short, FoodMaven is …  Good for profits. Good for people. Good for the planet.
