Pod Foods is an early-stage disruptive food-tech startup focused on the B2B food supply chain. We are a remote team with hubs in SF and Chicago. We are creating a distribution network driven by data and technology so that grocery stores can better meet their consumers’ preferences and replace mass-market inventory with the products that consumers want.

We are seeking out a vendor sales and success manager to help us qualify food manufacturers for our growing catalog and ensure their longer term success with the company. The work involves discovering independent food/beverage companies, answering inbound leads, setting up phone meetings, and winning opportunities over the phone. From there, you will be responsible for managing the vendor account and being their hands-on point person as they set promotions, open new stores, request price changes and set up demos.

The role is a hybrid of sales, account management and customer service and sits between operations and sales teams. You will work under our CRO and with the brand and sales team.

This individual will need to have a very motivated, positive, self-starter and “can-do” attitude. We work in a highly energetic environment (despite being remote!) and staying apace will be key not only for your own success but the success of the company.

Minimum Requirements:

-CRM experience (Hubspot a plus)
-Strong writing and speaking skills- excellent communication
-Ability to adapt and move fast with the growth of the company
-Hustler Attitude
-Reliability, trust, dependability, positive, patient, humble, and diligent

Preferred Qualifications:

-1-3 years of sales or customer support work
-Interest in the food industry/ Cares about the problem we’re solving

Compensation:

$50k-70k with potential employee options
