Job Description
Illuminate Food started at the beginning of the pandemic to help local farms sell more of the food that was no longer going to restaurants. We have built a CSA-stye farm box business in NJ that has been growing at a steady pace. Beyond promoting the box, there is an great opportunity to help educate consumers about where their food comes from and cooking seasonally. This role is hourly to start but could become something more substantial over time. The immediate needs are on Social Media (Instagram and Facebook) as well as our e-mail marketing tool – Klaviyo.
Responsibilities
- Create a social media strategy to engage current customers and reach new ones
- Educate on issues of sustainable agriculture
- Engage customers on what they are cooking and recipe ideas
Skills & Experience
- Experience in marketing and or social media
- Interest in food systems and helping connect people to where their food comes from
