done to perfection. As a Senior Product
Developer – Confections & Chocolate, you will have a high level of
accuracy and strong breadth of understanding in different cooking methods
relating to all types of chocolate and chocolate-based products. Additionally, you’ll be expected to have a
strong knowledge of the industry, to be familiar with the latest food trends,
and to foster a curiosity for product development. This is your opportunity to

- Chocolate Manufacturing
- Chocolate Research & Development
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Participate in all stages of product development, from ideation to manufacturing
- Meticulously record all tests and
records all pertinent analytical information - Monitor and research culinary trends
and innovations on an ongoing basis to continue to bring new ideas to the team - Keep up to date on manufacturing
processes, relevant patents, and other scholarly articles relevant to your projects - Participate in
and lead product tastings and plant trials of new products - Ensure the work area is orderly,
organized and clean for efficient use for testing - Assist in the
production of product samples for internal and external requests - Manage individual
project timelines and deliverables - Perform other administrative tasks as
needed
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO CHEW
For this role, we’re seeking candidates with the following
qualifications:
- At least five years of experience in the
field after completion of related degree program, or equivalent relevant work experience - Experience with product development
and R&D in CPG and/or food service - Specific expertise in working with chocolate
and chocolate-based food products is essential

CONSIDERATIONS
- Knowledge and use of commercial kitchen
equipment, including but not limited to ovens, gas ranges, mixers, and common
kitchen utensils - The ability to bend, to stand and to reach
above shoulder-level is necessary; occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds will
be required
