You have the fundamental understanding and proven ability to use data to achieve sales & marketing goals. You have a strong track record of e-tailing in the DTC space. You can juggle multiple mandates to bring together both the art of brand and the data and iterative learning of sales. You’re a go-getter with high integrity, a growth mindset, and solid and effective communication skills. You enjoy thinking analytically, and your colleagues count on you to develop innovative and practical solutions.

EXAMPLE OF DESIRED OUTCOMES FROM THIS ROLE: 

  • Create cohesive content across all channels with both evergreen content (reference / informational posts) & informal content (Instagram / Facebook / YouTube for ‘how to use’ & ‘why us’). 

  • Conduct channel discovery research to learn which channels are the best for sales at this time & then build a process to drive high sales conversion.

ART OF BRAND 

  1. The candidate has;

    • An incredibly keen sense for culture and trends and either already has a great understanding of the customer or is willing and able to learn.

    • A strong sense for the visual aspects of branding and the art of bringing great brands to life. 

  2. The candidate will;

    • Creates value alignment between the target market and the brand.

    • Make the Functionist known in the market as ‘the environmentally responsible’ and the ‘relatable’ choice for mushroom powder & strong and cohesive branding. 

DATA OF SALES 

  1. The candidate brings;

    • A firm understanding of different customer acquisition channels. 

    • Strong understanding of the customer and uses data to support it.  

    • Has driven velocity through e-com and engagement strategies that leads to sales.

  2. The candidate will;

    • Develop a channel strategy for the next three months, six months, and beyond.
