Job Description
We’re currently looking for a talented and
highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) that thrives
in a mission-driven, complex, and competitive sales environment. The role is ideal for

The SDR will play a fundamental role in
achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You
must be comfortable making many calls a day, creating awesome emails that
prompt response, generating interest and excitement with our prospects,
qualifying incoming leads, analyzing and mining sales data, and being tenacious
about hitting–and exceeding–activity-based sales metrics to drive revenue.
Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Research strategic
locations and clients, identify key players and generate interest in the product
offering. - Creates new
business at the local and regional levels, and follows up with prospects
after the agreement to ensure satisfaction, increase existing business and
obtain referrals. - Maintain and
expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory -NYC and Greater
Connecticut/ Springfield, MA- - Perform
effective permits/applications and legal requirements to prospects - Territory
planning and development - Research,
establish and develop relationships with new prospects — build and
maintain a healthy pipeline - Collaborate
with marketing on customer bespoke marketing initiatives - Achieve agreed upon sales targets and
outcomes within schedule - Analyze the territory/market’s potential,
track sales and status reports - Supply management with reports on sales
performance, customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities,
and potential for relationships and locations.
Skills & Experience
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent
- At least 3
years of directly applicable inside sales/SDR experience - Proven success
meeting/exceeding quota objectives - Ability to generate
sales reports and analysis to support management decisions - Strong writing and speaking skills – good communication
- Strong phone presence
and experience dialing dozens of calls per day - Ability to
multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively - Entrepreneurial,
creative and have good general management/business acumen - Reliability, trust, dependability, positive, patient, humble, and
diligent - Ability to adapt and move fast with the growth of the company
- Food Services
industry experience a plus (but if you don’t have it, we can immerse you) - Knowledge of the local food scene in the region you’re applying for

Compensation
Base salary dependent on experience with a sales incentive
program focused on results. We currently offer 15 days of PTO to start in
addition to paid holidays. We offer a flexible work environment with a group of
smart, committed, friendly and supportive colleagues.
This is a full-time job, located in New York, NY, with a
competitive compensation package.
