Pod Foods is a disruptive tech startup focused on the B2B food supply chain. We are currently operating in the major cities of the country, including SF, LA, Chicago and NY. We are creating a food distribution network driven by data and technology so that grocery stores can better meet their consumers’ preferences and replace mass-market inventory with the products that consumers want.

We are seeking out regional sales representatives to manage retail accounts with experience in the grocery industry and knowledge of the problem we’re solving to help us scale into regional and national chains. This work involves representing emerging food brands as well as Pod Foods, attending meetings with grocery executives, and selling the Pod Foods emerging brands concept into grocery stores. You will work under our CRO and with the brand and sales team.

This individual will need to have a very motivated, positive, self-starter and “can-do” attitude. We work in a highly energetic environment and staying apace will be key not only for your own success but the success of the company.

Minimum Requirements:

-CRM experience (Hubspot a plus)
-Strong writing and speaking skills- excellent communication
-Ability to adapt and move fast with the growth of the company
-Hustler Attitude
-Reliability, trust, dependability, positive, patient, humble, and diligent

Preferred Qualifications:

-2+ years of sales work in a startup — ideally a food startup with knowledge of local grocery scene

-Knowledge of the food scene nationwide

-Passion for awesome brands

-Experience with grocery industry as a broker, distributor, retailer or food manufacturer a major plus. 

-Knowledge of grocery nationwide and willingness to travel/grow into a Business Development role a major plus

Compensation:

$60k-80k base with commission and potential employee options
