Zoni Foods is a startup frozen meal kit company based in New Haven, Connecticut. The company makes frozen plant-based meal kits at the Western Massachusetts Food Processing Facility in Greenfield, MA. The company is looking to hire a production manager in charge of managing all aspects of inventory and production of our meal kits in Greenfield, MA.

Duties include:

1. Scheduling production to ensure sufficient supply
2. Set up materials, ingredients, equipment, and staff to create the most efficient production system
3. Managing ingredient inventory
4. Managing food safety production documentation and organization
5. Managing staff in producing, packing, and storing meal components
6. Make recommendations for improving production process flow to optimize for time and quality

Required:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly
• Ability to manage other workers and production process flow
• At least one year of work experience in food production / manufacturing
• ServSafe Manager Certificate
• MA Allergen Training (30 minute online course)

Compensation:

Negotiable and commensurate with experience.
