Looking for an Operations Manager for a wholesale meat company; serving steak houses, country clubs, and upscale restaurants in the Tri-State New York Metro area. The company, founded 70 years ago, is a family owned USDA-inspected facility with an excellent reputation for quality and service.
Responsibilities:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for training/mentoring members of our production team, logistics, warehouse, quality assurance, scheduling and cutting/yield tests. Desirable applicants would have an excellent knowledge of meat as well as experience running an operations team of similar size (50-60 employees). Our company is committed to a growth strategy to achieve expansion of sales, facilities and operations over the next few years. We are looking for an experienced individual who will be a strategic member of the management team, reporting directly to the CEO and President. This individual is expected to be proactive in securing process improvements, participating in decision making, and driving to achieve strategic objectives.
