Job Description
Simply Gum is a Soho based lifestyle brand creating premium and natural sweets. We’re looking for a Director of Marketing to further drive our brand’s awareness and trial. We’re seeking someone passionate about natural food and design, and with an appetite for rapid growth. Someone who is as scrappy as they are thorough and as creative as they are analytical. You’ll be working with a fun and energetic team, managing direct reports and agencies, and reporting to the CEO. And of course, you’ll be chewing lots of gum and popping lots of mints.
Responsibilities

Devise overall marketing strategy including brand positioning, data driven initiatives,
ecommerce projections, and budget in order to deliberately drive awareness and trial

Achieve ecommerce revenue objectives via robust efforts on Amazon and
Simplygum.com

Oversee digital ads, SEO, brand’s blog and web development

Launch meaningful brand collaborations to generate revenue and awareness

Create high impact partnerships with influencers and brands

Develop and analyze email campaigns

Drive PR and Communications strategy and assist in pitching key outlets

Lead social media growth and engagement; create memorable campaigns
-
Run Field Marketing initiatives from events to in store demos

Consult with CEO on packaging design and create new product launch strategies
Skills & Experience

5-10 years of Marketing experience with a high growth CPG brand

Strong communication skills and managerial skills

A love of data and likes using it to inform decisions

High expectations for themselves and their teammates and enjoys a fast pace

Appetite for both strategic thinking and executing small details

A passion for thinking about how objects can create meaningful moments

A tendency to brainstorm the most effective, least expensive solutions

A knack for design and digital marketing

An obsession with media and now all the best columns, outlets and writers,
