Role Summary: The Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for scaling a nascent business through existing digital marketing channels and to drive growth through new channels.


Essential Functions of the Role: (the list below is not all inclusive and the company reserves the right to change with or without notice)


●      Lead wholistic performance marketing strategy (including paid search and social and digital advertising) and digital advertising, while driving top of funnel initiatives such as SEO and paid media to meet our customer acquisition and retention goals

●      Own and manage user generated content via ratings and reviews on our website

●      Develop segmentation and personalization strategies as well as acquisition strategies for direct-to-consumer website

●      Efficiently manage the digital marketing spend budget

●      Drive A/B testing to create and iterate on new acquisition and growth experiences through digital tests, interviews, surveys, and research. Includes measuring results and proposing new solutions for our customers

●      Liaise with creative content production team to optimize our content mix based on performance data and insights

●      CRM management and ownership of email marketing calendar

●      Ongoing monitoring, reporting, analysis of KPIs and optimization towards improved results


 Required Experience, Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

●      An entrepreneurial spirit and be successful in a fast-paced, agile, innovative and collaborative start-up environment

●      An excitement and passion in building a new brand while wearing many hats during launch and initial growth phases

●      A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience preferably in Marketing, Consumer Relations Management or Business Management and/or digital media consumer relationship management

●      A minimum of 3 years of experience in performance marketing and familiarity with digital media buying across platforms

●      Proven successful track record of using best in class techniques to drive customer acquisition and retention and hit ambitious CPA and LTV goals

●      Proven budget management capabilities ($2M+)

●      Proven ability to optimize towards KPIs and reduce CPAs

●      Proven experience in establishing systems, procedures and processes for an early stage company

●      Possess an inquisitive ownership mindset and an ability to thrive and be agile in a fast-paced, evolving environment

●      Acute attention to detail, proficiency in Excel and exceptional “quick to respond”, problem-solving skills

●      Exceptional prioritization, analytical, negotiation, communication and organizational skills


Physical Requirements:

●      Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

●      Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
