Your mission:

We are looking for a Head of Sales and Customer Success to join our small team of great humans as we have a growing number of beekeepers. Are you seeking more ownership and want to make a concrete impact on the environment? Are protecting bees and improving our agroecosystem topics that you care about? Your role will be to consolidate Nectar’s prospective and existing customer relationships. You will own Nectar’s growth processes while supporting your team in reaching its objectives.  

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and empower the members of the sales and success team.

  • Partner with sales representatives in the development of sales strategies.

  • Land and expand: improve process and funnel for reaching out, onboarding, activation, and expansion.

  • Ensure execution of customer journey touchpoints, including onboarding, account reviews, retention, and other opportunities.

  • Support teammates in managing key client accounts.

  • Work with the Product team to prioritize customer features and requests.

  • Foster a positive team culture and participate in team development, including hiring, onboarding, career development and performance management.

Your qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and/or customer success.

  • A bachelor’s or associate’s degree in marketing, sales, or a related field.

  • Strong collaboration, time-management, influencing and prioritization skills are essential to the success of this role.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships internally and with customers.

  • Capacity to partner with customers in developing their strategic direction.

Your profile:

  • Strong interpersonal skills are an absolute must. 

  • Sense of self-confidence is required when communicating with Nectar’s clients.

  • Strong sales ability, business acumen, commercial awareness, and leadership.

  • Ability to work (and telework) in a team.

  • Start-up experience (a plus) and interest in sustainable agriculture.

  • Experience in agriculture, technology, or both, is nice to have.

  • Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.
