What You’ll Be Working On
You’ll join our early-stage team to architect and build front end software applications for browsers and mobile devices that will integrate with our backend software infrastructure. As our first front end software engineer, you will build unique UI/UX interfaces for both our customers and the internal team. Your internal tools will drive our operations efficacy as we go from 0 to 1, and your external-facing apps will help create a first-class customer experience and brand. You work well with others, thrive in a fast-moving environment and ideally, have an interest in the coffee space!
We are headquartered in San Mateo, CA, but this role has the flexibility to be fully remote.
You are:
- Well-versed in the modern languages and tools of front end (think React, Angular, Vue), and at least 3 years deep in this line of work
- Also familiar with a server-side programming language or two (think Python, Go, JavaScript)
- A proponent of good software development practices (think CI/CD, Git version control, testing, etc.)
- A tools and dashboard whiz – helping us to effectively understand and creatively visualize our data, operations, machines, and infrastructure
- An open ear – ready to listen to customer feature requests and pain points, and actively collaborate with the broader team to deliver new features and solutions
- A team player through and through, equipped with a growth mindset and ready to learn from your (and our) mistakes ✨
