Job Description
Brooklyn Delhi is seeking a Freelance Digital Designer to join our team. This position would be responsible for maintaining the brand’s visual presence primarily on social media and email. The team at Brooklyn Delhi is small, collaborative, and passionate about what we do!
Responsibilities
- Design Instagram posts (informational carousels, press, giveaways, memes, animations, etc) and Stories
- Design Instagram/TikTok video posts (example)
- Design Mailchimp email campaigns for monthly newsletter, recipe emails and one-offs
- Design one-off postcards and marketing print collateral
- Design web assets for website and Amazon store as needed
- Manage design calendar to meet deadlines on deliverables using Monday.com
- Concept and collaborate with founder and community manager on content for IG feed, Story segments, REELs, Tiktok, etc.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualities:
- Knowledgeable, have a solid understanding of design software and tolls and up to speed on current design trends in social and email.
- Creative, enjoy brainstorming and bringing new ideas to life in a way that makes sense for the brand.
- Self-motivated, thrives when challenged, excited about using your creative problem solving skills.
- Team oriented, collaborative while also possessing the ability to work independently and take constructive feedback from peers and manager
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks in a scrappy, start-up environmen
Skills & Experience
- At least 2 years working experience in design
- Experience designing email marketing platforms in Mailchimp
- Experience creating still and animated images and video for social media, specifically Instagram and TikTok
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) (Premiere Pro is a plus!)
- A creative lens and eye for typography, layout, and color balance
