Le Pain Quotidien is searching for a Field Marketing Associate to join the team to help build brand awareness, drive traffic, and improve the guest experience. The incumbent will be responsible for creating and executing regional initiatives to deliver on these goals and act as a brand liaison for the New York or Washington, D.C. region, translating strategies and campaigns from the global marketing team to the store level. This role involves creative thinking, detailed logistics, regular reporting, and a willingness to get your hands dirty. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with District Managers and General Manager’s to understand regional and store sales
- Alongside Field Marketing manager create programming and schedules that aim to support store/regional sales
- Execute national and global campaigns within designated region
- Expert on local competitive landscape including conducting quarterly pricing audits
- Maintain and develop local relationships including those with Business Districts, Chambers, and local businesses
- Evaluate and execute local partnerships including donations, ad trades, sponsorships, and discounts
- Identify key influencers and build relationships with them to drive awareness/trial and promotion of our brand
- Execute national partnerships within your designated market
- Lead events end-to-end while developing and executing event strategy and ensuring creative event experience
- Translate brand strategy to regional market – regularly visit stores to ensure accurate brand representation
- Work with field marketing team to build and manage quarterly budget
- Measure marketing impact with regular KPI reporting
- Assess regional media opportunities and helping ID key strategic opportunities for the brand
- Communicate with Support Center to gather relevant copy and design
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years work experience, preferably in marketing, project management, event production, or hospitality
- Proficient MS Excel with the ability to analyze sales data
- Highly driven and self-motivated
- Excellent interpersonal skills are a must with a customer centric mindset
- Ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams
- Experience in executing sales and/or marketing initiatives
- Ability to juggle multiple projects at once
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external communication
- Possess creativity and flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends as needed
- Ability to travel across designated market, work on your feet, and lift 20 pounds
- Local market knowledge and a passion for the food and hospitality industry are a plus
