The Challenge
Smallhold is in the process of a national scale-up. We are building our distributed network of farms in major cities throughout the United States. We built two hubs over the last 2 months (Austin, TX and Brooklyn, NY) and have ambitious plans with new cities over the next 6-12 months.
This role will work closely with our Operations team to expand our footprint into new regions. This role can expect to build regional teams, manage construction, manage real estate search, ensure processes and quality standards are followed, and everything in between.
This position has to execute quickly, think on their toes, and work fluidly using our expansion playbook as a reference. This unique position involves frequent travel, with potential 2 week to 6 month stays in each place, and your job is never the same from one city to the next.

5+ years in startup facilities/expansion experience, ideally with fast-paced construction projects

Packaging materials experience

Hiring and managing part-time, FT farming/manufacturing labor
