The Position
Smallhold is scaling nationally. We have built 2 hubs over the last 4 months and have ambitious plans in scaling our product around the country over the next 12 months.
We deal with living, breathing products. In this role, you will reimagine our supply chain to not only get things from point A to point B, but we also need to make sure they grow and maintain best-in-class quality and shelf-life at point B–wherever that is… all while keeping a focus on sustainability. This role will work closely with all departments at Smallhold, making sure supply and demand sides of the business communicate appropriately, guaranteeing we deliver the best experience possible to our customers.
The right candidate will have management’s full support to grow quickly and efficiently and build a capable team.

The Qualifications
In this role, you will have these responsibilities:

7+ years of experience in a relevant field, ideally with production planning in a farm or manufacturing role

Perishable food and cold-chain experience

Inventory planning and management for both food and agricultural, manufacturing materials

Demand planning and/or forecasting (with the support of sales and operations) and analysis

Experience scaling national 3PL for perishables

Management experience
-
Passion for the environment to the point that you’re willing to sometimes “do things the hard way” in order to keep a sustainable focus

Strong cross-departmental communicator

Experience streamlining business operations with ERP, CRM systems in a startup environment
