We are looking for a Digital Marketing Director to join our team who has deep experience and vision needed to rapidly grow our ecommerce business and brand presence efficiently on the web. This role requires a sense of ownership, accountability, passion and true entrepreneurial spirit.

This job will report to the COO.

Your job will entail assisting, creating and maintaining digital projects and initiatives such as:

  • Devising, implementing, measuring and optimizing strategies to drive traffic, conversion, retention, and AOV to meet company goals.
    • Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website.
    • Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns
    • Utilizing a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC and managing any external agencies that are also assisting with this.
  • Develop, evaluate and oversee the implementation of A/B testing protocols and procedures
  • Manage all aspects of marketing operations, including key personnel
  • Define, implement and measure email marketing strategyManaging online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness.
  • Overseeing the social media strategy for the company.
  • Optimization of company website
    • Improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company websit
    • Managing and assisting in any website issues that arise and working very quickly and efficiently with agencies and developers to make sure issues get resolved in a timely manner
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.Budget planning and tracking for ecommerce, including monthly reporting
  • Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
  • Manage art and copywriting professionals
  • Work closely with the COO to communicate about marketing goals and results
  • Partner with advertising and media specialists to increase marketing results as needed
  • Optimize website and social media channels for SEO as well as usability

Requirements for the position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required
  • Experience managing PPC, SEO and Affiliate Programs preferred
  • Must be a growth hacker and think creatively to build up user acquisition and conversion
  • Experience using email marketing platforms.
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practice.
  • Experience in ecommerce, Email Marketing, lead generation and social media is a must.
  • Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role preferable 5+ years
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS required and wordpress and/or Shopify preferred. It is preferred that you can code websites and troubleshoot website issues as they arise
