We’re looking for an experienced, full stack JavaScript engineer to help build the platform to power our mobile restaurant. We’re building real-time kitchen and delivery management systems, backoffice management tools, and consumer-facing APIs and interfaces. (Want to learn more about our mission? The ideal candidate loves building and growing products from a very early stage, not to mention APIs. And food.
Requirements
- Develop flexible and well-structured architectures and APIs suitable for our real-time deployment
- Contribute ideas for new features and identify areas for improvement proactively
- Write clean, testable, scalable and well-documented code
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 2+ years building products for high-impact consumer applications preferred
- Able to make solid technical judgements and back them up articulately
- Node experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to be flexible, and to quickly adapt to new information
- History of open source contributions strongly preferred
Desired Qualifications
- React and Mongo experience
- CSS and responsive web design
- You’ve used Firebase or similar messaging systems before
- You’re no stranger to the AWS console
- Bonus points if you love cooking…or eating…or both
