Job Description

We are looking for a talented, responsible, organized, and creative Account Supervisor with a background in food, agriculture, and/or nutrition marketing and communications who is passionate about all-things food and agriculture. You will be responsible for leading client accounts, including program development and project management and implementation, as well as supporting Wild Hive business development efforts. The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter who is responsible, committed, detail-oriented, and enjoys thinking strategically and creatively, while thriving on delivering high quality results from start to finish.

Responsibilities 

  • Lead, develop and implement client programs that produce excellent business and media results
  • Manage account team members and consultants to effectively deliver desired program results on time and on-budget and ensure regular updating of agendas, trackers, and status reports
  • Lead regular internal team meetings to ensure efficient and productive project management
  • Lead client calls and ensure seamless client communications
  • Oversee client budget tracking and billing
  • Support and conduct media trainings for clients
  • Lead development and implementation of traditional media as well as digital/emerging technologies for PR programming and influencer engagement
  • Develop and implement social media strategies, including ad campaigns if necessary to meet specific client goals
  • Synthesize month-to-month analytics for media, social media, etc. to demonstrate results to clients
  • Organize and build media and influencer lists; engage directly with media and influencers to
  • advance programs
  • Participate in new business planning and development
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in digital communications, social media, design tools and applications
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Experience

  • A strong passion for food, nutrition/health, and agriculture
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Analytical mind with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree; additional experience in executing job responsibilities
  • Excellent written communication skills with a good wit and creative writing style for social media and print/online to drive engagement
  • Strong creative thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to work as a team and support other team members
  • 5-8 years professional experience in marketing/communications
  • Ability to travel from time to time for client, new business, and Wild Hive team meetings
