Reports to Brand Manager
Location: White River Junction, VT
General Summary
As Associate Brand Manager, you will assist the Brand Manager in the development and execution of brand product strategy, including new product development, product line sales performance, financial management, marketing planning, and tactical execution of marketing plans. The brand team is responsible for delivering profitable sales growth for assigned product lines.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Analyze brand, category, and competitor performance using internal and Nielsen data and derive insights for business decisions
- Execute specific marketing plans in coordination with digital, shopper, and trade marketing teams
- Lead cross-functional teams for marketing-led initiatives including packaging changes, product line extensions, etc. in coordination with R&D, operations, creative, and sales teams
- Develop a deep understanding of our consumers through market research
- Assist in developing product line strategy through brand plans
- Manage product sales projections to help with accurate forecasting
Minimum job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA strongly preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in consumer marketing, brand management, or product marketing
- Prior experience working for a consumer-packaged goods (CPG) company
- Proficiency in IRI or Nielsen
